Hey Krazzy Coders, Hope you are doing well. In this post, I will show you how to add submenu in Shopify. As you know it's the easiest thing to add submenu into the website. One question will arise in your mind that what is the need to write this kind of silly post in Krazzy Codes blog list? My answer is so simple every platform has its own way to do certain things.

Shopify provides a different way to add submenu into the Website. This is simple but tricky to add submenu in Shopify. When was working in Shopify I searched a lot on Google for the answer and When I got it, it was so easy but the thing is that we have to find it in the simplest way. Let's see for add submenu in Shopify.

What are We going to do?

Check the following screenshot. We want submenu like this screenshot. Assume that currently, We have only 2 menus like "Home" and "Catalog".

Let's add submenu in Shopify step by step

Step 1: First of all click on "Online Store", It will open another sidebar from there click on "Navigation" menu.
It will give you the list of menus created into Shopify. Predefine menus are "Main Menu" and "Footer Menu".

Step 2: We want to add the "Shop" menu in the main menu so Click on "Main Menu". It will open a new window. Click on add "Menu Item" button from the right side. It will add the new row on the right side, add your new menu name and select Link as you like and click on "Save Menu".

Step 3: Now, we want to add submenus to the shop main menu. Go Back to "Navigation", from there click on "Add Menu" from the top right side. It will open a new window.

Step 4: In new window add the Menu name same as that you want to make dropdown. Suppose, you want to make "Shop" as a drop-down menu then add "Shop" menu as a new menu. So Shopify automatically understands that "Shop" is a parent menu and added "Menu Items" into it are sub menus. Add "Menu Items" like "Mobile Accessories", "Mobile", "Laptop" and click on "Save Menu". You have done. Visit your website and enjoy your drop-down menu.
